[I guess he did say pencil her in for Monday, but Taako isn't really wasting time digging into the kitchen supplies available in here - rattling about in the cabinets and flicking burners on and off. If Flayn wanders in he'll actually look up.]
[She does indeed wander in, having found a change of clothes in her cabin. She isn't much interested in food from a buffet, so she's actually pretty relieved when she sees Taako.]
The kitchen here is rather different from the one I am used to, but... it will work, will it not?
[Taako . . . hasn't actually changed, because he's actually find with booty shorts and birkenstocks, but he has added a large wizard's hat. This is his casual outfit.]
Like I said, I can make anything work. I wouldn't call it five stars and I'm, y'know, loathe to give any credit to kidnappers, but it's not terrible. Functional anyway. I'm sure I'll find complaints if you give me a minute.
[WELL, THEY'RE... ALIVE... THERE'S THAT... THAT'S A PLUS...
fever aside, though, a man is still dead! well. a sword. man. whatever, he was a sentient being, the specifics don't matter. luckily, an elf is not dead. wherever taako happens to be (are they still outside in the rain?), flayn calls out to him.]
[flayn's come back for that fish she received at the trial - it's out of the fridge and on a cutting board on the counter. she's got a small jar of honey in one hand and a container of salt in the other.
she's glancing back and forth between them like she's trying to decide which flavoring to use, but it doesn't really look like her heart is in it.]
[Flayn is walking back from the lake! She looks deep in thought, and eventually she winds up wherever Taako is. (Is it the kitchen? It's probably the kitchen.)
Regardless, when she spots him - she, uh. Goes up on her tiptoes and reaches up to try and pat his head. I am so sorry.]
[It is, indeed, the kitchen, though Taako seems a little antsy to be there. His head will be easy to reach, because he’s on his knees and digging in a giant bag of flour. Like a dog? Just digging.]
This time Flayn doesn't seem to be doing much with food, though. She's... boiling water for tea in a teakettle, and she's got an array of tea leaves and dried fruits spread out on the counter. Hmm.]
[Taako's coming in here to keep messing around more pastry - apparently he's needed a lot over the past two days. Humming when he sees all the ingredients laid out.]
[Taako's in the kitchen! Industrious as ever. Even brave enough to come out in the rain to get here, though he'll look a little irritated if anyone looks sopping as they prance through the kitchen. When it's Flayn though, he raises a hand.]
[Flayn is thankfully(?) in possession of a hideous, tie-dye patterned raincoat, which she's had the good sense to leave behind in the mess hall to hold her table. Luckily, that means she's not dripping wet! It just means her clothes are a little damp from before she got to the clothing store.
[Taako is chillin' in his cabin after All Of That - and isn't really up for moving that much - so Flayn will have to come to him if she wants to say heeeeey.]
Taako is curled up in the Entertainment Room, mostly just twidling his thumbs and avoiding people, but if she walks in, he tilts his head and gives a bit of a wry smile.]
[do people believe him? or worse - what if they don't, and they decide to seek their revenge on him and magnus? flayn really does not want to see that happen. at all.]
W0
I suppose it'll have to do.

[a beat.]
Aside from the... "someone is dead" thing.

Yeah, shit, I'm hot as hell-- I mean not in my normal way. You?
no subject
[she's not using an umbrella, because... yeah. the rain is cooler, and frankly, she's all for anything that will help her cool down.
she fidgets a little uncomfortably.]
...I - did we just catch some kind of cold, from being outside at night? That... that is all this is, correct?

[No it's from the emotional Trauma, Taako. But, he pushes some baked goods at her - seems like lemon blueberry scones today.]

[Just. In general.]

Now that the headpat is out of her system, Flayn seems pretty normal, all things considered. Though Taako digging through flour is, uh, concerning.]
