[flayn is out in the courtyard, in search of some fresh air and studying the statues! she's frowning a little as she takes them in. why are there so many of them. why have there been so many murdergames that they can have this many npc statues. jesus christ.
she catches movement out of the corner of her eye and turns - ]
Well - in my last group, we didn't get to see the reason we were all brought here until the very end. Even though the reason we were brought in was pretty bad, the four of them helping us along the way were really kind. Well, except Hugo, but he wasn't unkind, either. Most of the time. [please stop] Anyways, my point is - even if whoever's behind all of this is pretty awful, that doesn't necessarily mean we won't have better people to help us all.
[he gives her a wave as he sees her! which is a little bit awkward, seeing as he's holding a small red dragon in his arms. porridge looks at her curiously.]
I like it a lot! It feels really... warm. Familiar, for sure. What about yours?
[down the hall they go! flayn unlocks her door and leads him into her room.
the aesthetic is sort of a cross between that of a student at garreg mach and a fantasy chinese style room, with a bed more in the chinese style and the desk more like the one at garreg mach. the room seems to be lit by candlelight, and there are some plants on the desk and on some of the shelves on the walls - forget-me-nots, lavender, and so on... but closer inspection shows that they are fake plants, just for aesthetic purposes. overall, it gives off a very cozy, homey feeling.]
[he reaches for her arm on instinct once his own surprised yell is done, trying to pull her closer through the empty air. unfortunately for the both of them, i rolled a four, so the closest he gets is his hand brushing her sleeve.
he tries to speak over the sound of the air rushing past them.]
[he looks around as well, trying desperately to tell if he can make out anything to grab onto or at least to see how far down the ground is, but no dice. either way, once she holds onto him, it makes it easier for him to do the same, so now they're at least falling together! yay.]
They didn't prepare all of this just to drop us to our deaths. I'm sure there's going to be something.
[the jury's out on whether he's saying that for her benefit or his, but anyways.]
weekend zero, saturday

I only knew two of them well, but...
[he glances between iris and hugo with a small smile.]
They were some of my best friends back there.

[though, after a moment:]
Were yours not kind to you?
no subject
[this being a hostage situation and all... it's pretty cruel. will their npcs (if there are any, ha ha) be cruel people too?]
no subject
[he thinks that over for a few moments.]

w0, monday.
Ready to do some exploring? Looks like there are a lot of new rooms.
no subject
If there is that much ground to cover, then no one ought to go alone. We may as well explore!

No! I do not see anything!
