[He turns around upon hearing someone call for him, and when he spots someone familiar he grins. Likewise, Mrs. O'Leary turns and wags her tail.]

Oh, hey. What's up?
hydrogenetic: (And the truth that's in the message)

[personal profile] hydrogenetic 2020-06-08 06:52 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, yeah, go for it. She's pretty friendly. [He looks down at Mrs. O'Leary who seems to make a beeline toward Flayn's hand the moment she reaches out.]

This is Mrs. O'Leary. Mrs. O'Leary, this is...[...fuck, wait.] What'd you say your name was? [You think a dumb bitch read the profiles yet? Not yet.]
hydrogenetic: (And if the sun should lift me up)

[personal profile] hydrogenetic 2020-06-08 07:31 am (UTC)(link)
[There's another cheerful bark as Mrs. O'Leary tries to stand on her hind legs to lick Flayn's face.]

Pretty sure that's dog for "nice to meet you, too, Flayn."
hydrogenetic: (Just to find a home)

[personal profile] hydrogenetic 2020-06-08 09:45 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah. Her and a baby tiger that apparently belongs to one of my new roommates. I don't know how they'll get along, but we'll figure something out.
hydrogenetic: (So far away)

[personal profile] hydrogenetic 2020-06-08 09:53 am (UTC)(link)
Sure, I guess. [This is both an answer about Nami and also answering the question meant for Mrs. O'Leary who woofs a little at that.] Mrs. O'Leary usually only attacks if I'm threatened by anybody. Otherwise she's kind of too friendly with everyone she meets. Nami will be fine.
hydrogenetic: (I still try)

[personal profile] hydrogenetic 2020-06-09 01:37 am (UTC)(link)
You think so? [Idly. He doesn't quite agree, but it's sort of funny to hear.] I want to think we'll all be fine but we're still in a trial period right now, aren't we?
hydrogenetic: (you really ain't got it bad)

[personal profile] hydrogenetic 2020-06-09 06:03 am (UTC)(link)
[There's another bark. Nope! She'll be just fine as a protector.]

True enough. She's helped us out plenty of times before during battles, and we went through our last game together and made it out okay. Maybe she really is used to this by now.
hydrogenetic: (Quiet and confident)

[personal profile] hydrogenetic 2020-06-10 10:42 am (UTC)(link)
Oh yeah, big time. Normally she's at least a hundred times this size. I'm used to flying with Blackjack but she's great for ground coverage.

[Being in a murder game previously means he's not as cagey about saying things like this, apparently.]
hydrogenetic: (If I fall forward)

[personal profile] hydrogenetic 2020-06-11 05:26 pm (UTC)(link)
She is. She knows better than to let our enemies win and she's one of the most faithful friends I've got.
hydrogenetic: (When I am ten feet tall)

[personal profile] hydrogenetic 2020-06-12 06:09 am (UTC)(link)
I think so, too. [He loves a good girl.] What about you, Flayn? Got anybody here that you can count on?
hydrogenetic: (I've noticed)

[personal profile] hydrogenetic 2020-06-12 04:18 pm (UTC)(link)
That's good to know. I was sort of hoping that'd be the answer anyway considering...well, everything.

[Weird camp, weird NPCs, all that.]
hydrogenetic: (Keep moving)

[personal profile] hydrogenetic 2020-06-12 09:49 pm (UTC)(link)
You and me both. Our last host wasn't exactly the most helpful guy around...and these ones seem almost too nice. I don't blame anybody who's suspicious of them.
hydrogenetic: (C'mon c'mon)

[personal profile] hydrogenetic 2020-06-13 06:09 am (UTC)(link)
Our host was a robot, so I wouldn't rely too heavily on us. [...] If you didn't have hosts though, how did you guys handle your trials and stuff?
hydrogenetic: (C'mon c'mon)

[personal profile] hydrogenetic 2020-06-13 06:23 am (UTC)(link)
Did you ever find the source of the voice?
hydrogenetic: (People they all have their motives)

[personal profile] hydrogenetic 2020-06-13 03:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Somehow that makes it even worse. Were they always telling the truth, you think?
hydrogenetic: (with everything falling down around me)

[personal profile] hydrogenetic 2020-06-13 08:13 pm (UTC)(link)
It's like it was just a preview of what was coming...you guys were only on the island for a short time, weren't you?
hydrogenetic: (We're settling the final score)

[personal profile] hydrogenetic 2020-06-14 12:49 am (UTC)(link)
There's a few too many coincidences for me to think it's not possible. But we don't have any proof yet either, so...it's hard to say. I really, really hope not though.
hydrogenetic: (Id like to believe all the possibilities)

[personal profile] hydrogenetic 2020-06-14 08:24 pm (UTC)(link)
I hope you're right. [There's a slight grin.] But let's keep an eye out for anything that seems off, okay? The sooner we know, the better we can plan for whatever happens.
hydrogenetic: (If I fall forward)

[personal profile] hydrogenetic 2020-06-15 02:29 am (UTC)(link)
Let me know if you hear of anything unusual, alright? And I'll do the same for you.
