[There's deep, airy gratitude in the way he says her name. He sets her garland down—carefully—to grab his, which he holds out in her direction with both hands.]

[What Flayn gets in return is a garland woven from alstroemerias, jasmines, pink roses, and pink gerberas with white lace flowers interspersed between them; creating a pastel ring of white, yellow, and pink.]
[Flayn's eyes light up as he holds the garland out and she looks it over. It's beautiful, and she accepts it gratefully, cradling it in one arm so she doesn't smush it. She's going to take good care of it so she can bring it back home with her.
(If they go back home. No, they'll definitely go back home. They have to.)]
[He watches her with bated breath. It's only once she cradles the garland that he exhales quietly and picks up the flowers she's gifted him. He studies the individual flowers some more before his cheeks flush a deep red.]
When we see each other again, I'll make more for you. I'm good at it, so it won't take long.
He perks up at the mention of her room. If she intends to keep whatever he makes for her, then maybe he can do a little more.]
Ah, is there anything that you want? How about a comb or hair adornment? There are some cute accessories in my world. I can buy you one and bring it on my first visit.

Then I'll show you around when it's bright! Depending on the city, you can find all sorts of stores and meet more people than you can count. Sounds fun, right?

I was in the countryside before I came here, but I'll invite you the next time I'm near a city. I'm constantly moving around, so I'll be able to take you to a bunch of places.

Yeah. That part of the country isn't as modernized. It's quiet, especially at night when it gets dark. But you won't see green fields on the side of the road near the city as you would near a village.
They're mostly crops tended by farmers. If you venture out farther into the wild like the mountains and hills, though, you can find other plants like flowers; there were lots of them in the hill near where I was staying a year ago.

I left not too long ago, you know? The Corps doesn't joke around. As soon as you finish one job, they assign you another one in an entirely different area. And there's no way a demon would last long enough for me to be assigned with Gramps there.
