[ beau just goes ahead and spills coffee on herself when she gets hit by the memory. when she comes out of it, she squints down at the spill, and then slowly brings her coffee up to sip from anyway.

to flayn: ] ... I didn't know you had a brother.

[flayn, however, is unfortunately distracted by the spill. she looks at it with concern, and in the same moment that beau speaks, she gasps:]

—oh, no - did it burn you?

[...and then she realizes she was talking at the same time as her.]

Ah... I am sorry, what was that?

[ she shakes her hand off. it looks fine! ]

Nah. I'm fine. Just a little hot. [ a beat. ] I said you have a brother, apparently.

[if she says so... flayn looks a little dubious, but if beau's not hurt, then... it's fine, right?]

...ah. Yes. He is a... bit of a worrywart, as you saw.

Yeah, a bit. Good on you for telling him to get his nose out of your business.

I know he only does it out of concern, but really! It is quite frustrating... and quite embarrassing, as well.
