fishingforcompliments | [not again] catchall for belph

[I assume Belph is probably going to be looking for alcohol, even if he hasn't found any, so! Here they are in the kitchen. Flayn has gotten changed and is poking around in the pantry, looking for ingredients she recognizes. She's hungry and isn't much in the mood for food from the buffet.]

Hmm... there must be something...

[Well, here's the director's office, with its shut doors. If Flayn is surprised to see Belph here, she doesn't show it.]

...they are not going to answer, are they.

[The words aren't spoken like a question.]

[she's had her wounds seen to (thank you dick) and she's supposed to be resting!

so of course, belph will catch her attempting to walk right on out of ant cabin. she's moving very carefully, but uh, yeah. shit like this is exactly why she keeps getting hurt! oh well.]

[i don't know what you mean by not eating is going to catch up with him BUT... flayn will have been keeping an eye on where he went after the trial, so when it happens, she sees it.

and then reaches out to try and catch him by the arm, concerned.]

Belph...

[it's memshare time!! flayn's been... kind of keeping to herself this week in an attempt to avoid dumping more memories on everyone else, but coming back from the whole wedding thing means there's a chance for her path to cross with belph's.

and almost immediately, when she meets his eyes - a memory starts. he'll only catch the voices, at first - her vision is blurred, and she tries to sit up from where she is on the ground, but finds she doesn't have the strength to move. her classmates suggest they carry her and the "other girl" up out of the catacombs, and they do.

upstairs, they check her over. she's conserving her strength and doesn't say much of anything, and she allows herself to be carried to the infirmary - but then, once they've left, she forces herself to her feet and leaves the infirmary, moving very determinedly down the halls to seteth's office. she lingers by the door, listening in on their conversation - until it reaches a point where she feels she has no choice but to butt in.

when the memory fades out, her hand is still raised to belph in a greeting, and the word slips out before she can stop herself:]
