I do not wish to be here any longer than is necessary, but...

Part of me... does hope that this continues to move slowly. The longer it takes, the more time we have to figure out a solution that does not end with so many of us dead.

I dunno. Since... I'm not sure how they're judging us going slowly or not. Is it by the weeks passing? Or the number of deaths?

...it would almost have to be the number of deaths, would it not? Because of the requirement for there to be one team left standing.

Pretty much. So there's a chance that if the body count is really low each week, and we drag it out, we might not get a lot of information in exchange.

... this is all hypothetical, though.

Then - I hope it is the passage of time, not the body count. We cannot be expected to trade lives for information...
