...and, with us unable to confirm each of our powers... even if we manage to narrow down a type of power that was used, tying it to a person would be more difficult.
If there were any real, discernible rhyme or reason as to who received what title and why, it might become easier to narrow down. Whether or not that would actually be useful is another thing entirely.
[ since some of the power interpretations seem to be very broad. ]
Mm, I've heard some people say they think it's random, and others say maybe it isn't. I think it's just too early to say... but it might be that the people who say it isn't are just seeing patterns where there aren't any.
...I agree that it may be too early to say. Perhaps as we learn more about who has which title, it will become easier to find a pattern, if there is one.

Minako says that on the island, you never didn't find a killer.

The evidence had pointed at them, but...
[The evidence had also pointed at Ogata. She sighs.]
However, it was only two trials. I suppose if we are looking strictly at the numbers, we allowed more killers to escape than we caught.

[ assuming they also had the one executed a week thing, that means that at least three killers went free. and that's the c bare minimum. ]

More than half our number was to die in the span of two weeks. There were... a lot of bodies, each trial.

[ look how distracted they all got with absolute nonsense this trial, and that was just one body. ]

I suppose it did help that we did not have the possibility of powers to get distracted by.

...we will simply have to follow what threads we can, I suppose - and hope that they lead us somewhere productive.
