I do not know exactly how we got back. I... lost consciousness partly through everything that was happening.
[flayn hates to admit it, but that's the truth]
There was a medical tent on the beach - my side felt like... the wound had reopened, so I went inside. Yin Yu followed me in. There was someone we both knew from the island there, only younger, but nothing seemed out of the ordinary at the time. Until... she started talking about needing to take our blood to purge it of... poison? [her brow furrows. it's a blur.] Yin Yu put himself in between the two of us so she wouldn't be able to hurt me. They fought, and I tried to help, and the bleeding got worse, so I passed out.
... I feel the most annoying part of dealing with these things is figuring out what parts might be based in truth, and which ones are simply another part of whatever trap or illusion it was meant to expel you. That's both more and less than what I expected...
[ oddly direct, but not as involved as the mansion's, it seems. hm.
glances over at her. ]
You know, you can use my bunk for the time being. You don't have to sit on the floor.
More in that... It seems further removed from the reality of things compared to some of the illusions the mansion had to offer. Less in that it doesn't seem to really shed that much light on anything at all.
[ but then again, apparently it was the later groups that got more... interesting adventures, so perhaps her experiences are skewed outside of that final trip though the heart.
purge the poison, huh... ]
I don't need to sleep. It's hardly like I need the bed. But if you're apparently comfortable...
If you insist. You know your limits better than me, after all.
[ and for analyzing the break-ins, well, it's not like they have much to cross reference with at this point, so they'll probably have to table that for now... ]
... since you said you would rather not sleep, is there anything you'd like to talk about?
It is difficult to order them. I feel as though I am thinking in circles, while also not thinking much of anything at all. Sleep will not come easily to me - but I fear that conversation will not, either.

[ there's a lot to touch on here but let's start with one thing at a time. ]

When I woke up, we were all back here.

[Flayn doesn't really get it, but 45 does seem to have a lot of experience with this sort of thing, so she'll take her word for it.]
Oh - no. That is all right... I would not want to displace you from your bed. And it is surprisingly comfortable here.
[i already started other pcs with her sitting like this don't make me retcon it,,,]

[hmm. well, it is relatively early on in their time here. maybe they'll discover more secrets the longer this goes on.
(not that she wants this to go on for very long...)]
...ah, well, I am. Truth be told, I think I would rather stay comfortable than get up and try to move.
