[she's awake! it's a recent development. flayn tries to sit up to talk with beau a little more directly, which is probably a mistake, but you know what? it's fine. she can hardly just lie here like an invalid all day.]
[ beau hisses and scoots forward to try and like, make sure flayn isn't pushing herself too hard. god. she ends up sitting down next to her. ]
Yeah, this time you really did. Watching people walk out of mysterious rooms with their arms full of unconscious people is - unfortunately familiar. [ she'd had some severe anya flashbacks. it's fine. ]
But you're alive. And you're gonna be fine. [ she offers a small, reassuring smile. ]
Uh - haha, both, actually. [ she's appropriately casual. ] It's okay. I've lost a lot of people, and it's not gonna quit happening, especially here. I'm just glad you're alive right now.
[zoe league of legends is not, herself, multiple children. but she looked like a child!]
But when we appeared there, we encountered someone we knew. She was... younger, than she was on the island. But at the time it did not seem that strange to me...
Something... must have affected our minds. Now, of course, I know we went into the cabin and through that door, but... when we were there, I could not remember being in the cabin at all, or even being at camp.
...not forever. It felt like the earlier days of the island. I do not know how quite to explain it...

...we encountered someone within a tent that was meant to be some kind of infirmary, I believe. It... should have been strange. The island was meant to be deserted. But... my wound had been aggravated, and I needed treatment. So I... I walked inside.

...it looked like someone we knew, but... younger. Still, it did not seem strange... it seemed natural for her to be that age. [...] Yin Yu realized something was wrong first. He put himself between the two of us.
Numbers. [ she has a sort of uncomfortable look on her face at that, but she doesn't elaborate. ] Weird. I wonder if it meant anything, or if it was just this place continuing to fuck with everybody.
...I am not sure. On the island, we were directly told at the beginning that a certain number of us had to die, or else the consequences would be dire...
[so, honestly, flayn's just been thinking it was because of that]
But it could be some sort of clue as to what is going on here, I suppose. It would probably serve us well to keep it in mind in case anything similar comes up in the future.
